Right so working at Wendy's is giving me some much needed cash flow which means that I can get a few of the things that I've wanted to do out of the way. Like going to ACen, and Otakon, and making a trip out to California and going to New York.

But also able to get more for my Comic book collection. It's funny, I have more Teen Titans, then I do anything else. Curse you Tim Drake!

Also wow.. I has LJ and completely forgot about it! Yay me!

So I get to spend all day today with my mother's family in one of the worst settings... a funeral. One of my Grandmother's brother's passed away on Wednesday's night, so my father, my mother, and I are heading out to Geneva today.

So I downloaded and read Phoenix: Endsong and Phoenix: Warsong yesterday and I have to say... WOW!

The art was just beautiful in both series, and even though Jean wasn't in Warsong it was still really good. Endsong though... I cried... I was like balling as I read it. *huggles Phoenix doll*

They are definitely good reads and I am SO going to buy them when I have the money.

Now I'm off to read more of the Ultimate comics. Ultimate X-Men is so awesome! *dances*

OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!

So yeah, I've spent this last weekend on the edge of my seat WAITING for someone from Comic-Con to post up the first trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Well last night SOMEONE DID! I just watched it and though you can't hear what he's saying very well (cause of the screaming fans), it looks AWESOME... DEADPOOL!! *flails* GAMBIT!! *flails more* I just don't know who to fangirl over first!

I can't believe my muses lately. First I'm batting out drabbles left and right for fandoms that I haven't written for in months if not years (Naruto, Kingdom Hearts, Harry Potter, Doctor Who/Torchwood) now my muses have sprung up and bit me for a full 10 chapter (part) fanfic starting a character that I have never written before.

So for the past few days I've been trying to get my muses back up and running. And it's working!

I've signed up to do a bunch of challenges here on LJ with my writing journal and I've already written a bunch of stuff.

I've got Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, Mighty Avengers, Final Fantasy X-2, Naruto, Doctor Who, Torchwood, and I signed up for a prompt over at marveloustales

So I mentioned in my last post that I was reading up on some Marvel stuff. I've read through the latest Spider-Man series and I want to scream. Brand New Day is utter crap. I'm hoping by the time September rolls around and the Ms. Marvel annual comes out that Peter's returned to something resembling normal. This new attitude bugs me.

I've also been reading Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimate Spider-Man. The art work is good and the stories are alright so far. I'm only about 10 issues in so, I can't really say much more about them.

Also if you haven't read the Ultimates, it's a good series. All 3 volumes of it. I love the way that Wanda is drawn in the Ultimates verse. Though I don't like Steve at all. Oh well. Tony being all drunk and whee! all the time makes up for Steve being a hard head.

I've also got some Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man stashed away to read.

Not to mention the Avengers volume 3... No one told me that Wanda and Simon hooked up... That kind of makes me giggle. Woman Man is a lady killer.

Wow it's been a month since I last updated... can't say I'm surprised though.

Today was my cousin Nikole's 4th birthday. Sponge Bob style! All that yellow made me happy.

So for the last month I've done all this reading of Marvel comics... I've read all of Ultimate Iron Man (still don't know why... it hurt my head)... I've read all of Volume 5 of Captain America (The Winter Solider makes me smile)... I've read all of Ms. Marvel (can she kick any more ass?)... Caught all up on Secret Invasion... Reading all of Civil War and tie-ins (only have a few more to go)... Reading Cable and Deadpool (man I love Deadpool)... Reading New Avengers.... and I've starting reading House of M stuff (which makes my head hurt).

I've also re-read all of Runaways and Young Avengers.

Thinking of going back and reading all of Fantastic Four, but it's 500+ issues... it'll take me forever...

Same with Spider-Man and Iron Man...

Might go back and read Volumes 1-4 of Captain America though...

And the old Avengers stuff...

Also got my message board all up and running. Got like 10+ people on it, all of who are really cool people and all of who can RP great.

Missed Daredevil on FX this morning cause of the birthday party... makes me sad cause I really wanted to see it. I've been waiting for weeks for them to play it. Bastards.

Going to have my dad make raviolis for dinner tonight...

End of Doctor Who season 4 didn't suck....

Off now to read more comics and role play as Ms. Marvel....

So tonight I went to see Prince Caspian with Joy and Josh... I have got to say I was surprised that I liked the movie. I thought I would end up hating it like I did with the last Narnia movie Disney put out, but this one was better. Now I must go back and finish reading the books I haven't read yet... maybe I'll find another one of the books I'll love. Maybe not...

Don't really know what the plan is for tomorrow...  I know it involves hanging out with Fizzy, but other than that... no clue... Guess we'll see when we get there... and still have time to watch Doctor Who tomorrow night.

Sunday afternoon is the Anime Cook-Off thing, don't really know if we'll go or not. Want to see what is going on at it, but don't know if it'll be worth 5$. We'll see when we get there I guess...

Monday is auditions for the Wizard of Oz.... I know I'm going to be nervous, but right now I don't think I could care less about it... another thing we'll have to wait and see on.

Tuesday is the day I'm waiting for... DEATH NOTE LIVE ACTION MOVIE!!!

Man I'm so excited for it... but I'm trying to hold it in cause some people don't care so much for Death Note as I do... and I just realized I left my Death Note notebook at home... oh well. Light doesn't carry it around all the time.

Now I'm off to find something mindless to lull me to sleep... maybe a book... *nods*
